To celebrate his 50th birthday, and to give thanks to his staffers who have been working night and day and weekends too for weeks and weeks on resolving the debt ceiling issue, the reward finally came today in the shape of a hamburger, courtesy of the President of these United States of America. And not only that, but this was a very special hamburger joint for this place served a jumbo burger named after President Barack Hussain Obama.The “One” and a few of his special staffers indulged in a meal fit for Wimpy himself. This place served the classic Hamburger that can not be found anywhere else but this at the burger joint. Owned by a great guy who is world famous for his Prez Burger. Chef Spike Mendelsohn runs a small but nice place with outdoor seating because it's really stuffy inside. Form the sweaty line cooks who do a great job. As far as the food goes, their burgers are humongous and tasty, and their fries are cut thick and still dripping with oil. Their specialty is the chili, topping but they ran out of the chili, so the Pres didn't get to taste their chili cheese fries, which really sucked. . But Barack did get TWO of The Prez Obama burgers topped with melted cheese, along with a side dish of smoked bacon, two Croissant with marmalade, and blue cheese.
Also on Chef Mendelsohn’s menu, he lists the “Michelle Melt,” a 20 oz turkey burger which features organic tomatoes, onions, melted Swiss cheese, lettuce on a freshly baked whole wheat bun with organic herb mayo, and topped with granola .. Grown and brought in daily by by local farmers.
President Obama did not order the burger that bears his name, instead opting for a cheddar cheese burger, well done, with mustard, lettuce and tomato and a side of fries
Despite The First Moocher’s. push for healthy eating, burgers are a big favorite of the president’s. I guess that he must have temporarily forgotten the lessons of The First Moocher’s. anti-obesity campaign when he sinfully indulged in that high caloric lunch Monday at a new hamburger restaurant where they serve a jumbo over-sized burger that bears his name. He also serves what he calls The First Moocher’s desert, that’s a real favorite consisting of yogurt and granola with elderberries served in a parfait. But nobody ordered that, it seemed as it the Double Scoop Hot Fudge Sundae was more popular with the Prez and the staffers .
Although a Washington Post reporter said the last time First Lady was in, she ordered a Cheeseburger, melted cheese french fries , fried onion rings, a chocolate shake and a Diet Coke
The First Moocher may have temporarily forgotten the lessons of her own anti-obesity campaign when she was there last stated the Washington Post reporter. Sometimes she just gets tempted and forgets.
