Jerry Della Femina , Famous Advertising Giant and Restauranteur Is Selling His East Hampton Mansion And His Famous Land Mark Restaurant In Protest

Yes, you read this correctly, while sipping my morning coffee and eating my breakfast , and multitasking by listening to the radio at the same time, I heard the Advertising legend Jerry Della Femina being interviewed . The very famous Advertising Giant and Restaurateur is selling his East Hampton Mansion and his famous land mark restaurant, a very busy one may I add. I have been there at least 6-8 times whenever I was able to get in, as it’s so busy and very hard to get reservations there. It is one of the most popular restaurants in the Hamptons.
But yes, he said that he is selling his restaurant in protest to Barack Obama’s Presidency. He said that although he is very generous to his employees and has been for the 30 years that he has been in business, he will not go along with ObamaCare, and "before [President] Obama decides to redistribute any more of my wealth," he says. Della Femina and his wife, TV personality Judy Licht, have owned the house on Drew Lane, near the estates of billionaire Carl Icahn and Starbucks founder Howard Schultz, since 1987.
"We turned down an offer of $32 million six years ago," Della Femina told the New York Post. He thinks it's worth about $40 million now. "It has the best ocean view of any house in the Hamptons."
Della Femina called the health-care reform bill that Congress passed Sunday "the single biggest tax increase in history" and said, "I want to sell it before I get hit with more taxes."

He added, “ From the very first “Yes We Can” and “Change You Can Believe In,” I decided that this country was falling in love with an attractive, great-speech making hustler/socialist who, if he got into office, was going to pursue his agenda to destroy the best health care in the world and re-distribute wealth. Yours and mine.
I have employed thousands of people in my lifetime. I’ve been good to them and they have been good to me. I’m just not ready to have my wealth redistributed. I’m not ready to pay more tax money than the next guy because I provide jobs and because I work a 60-hour week and I earn more than $250,000 a year.
I told my friends that from that moment on everything I owned—my houses, my advertising business, my newspaper and my restaurant—was for sale, and I meant it.”

I just can’t understand why stuff like this just doesn't piss off every single American, even if they still consider themselves liberal.
