Calling the cost of Obama’s trip to India etc. $200 million per day "highly doubtful” and saying that "there's no evidence to support such a huge figure” the left has attacked Drudge along with Fox news and other rightwing news media outlets. The reported the size of the president's entourage at 3,000 is a fact that can not be denied. The Obama’s and their entourage has also taken up the entire Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. All 570 rooms, the banquet halls and all of the restaurants as well. also our King has been booked, an additional 80 to 90 rooms at the Grand Hyatt and The Oberoi hotel, where King Obama will be meeting with people from the business community.
Whatever it costs, be it $200 million a day or even a half of a million a day ($500,000), I still think that’s a bit over the top. Did we really have to sent 3,000 people over there? And all the airplanes it took to get them there, and the cost of feeding these people! I doubt very seriously that there are going to be eating Chicken or Ham. Lobster and Caviar is much more likely. Don’t forget that our king has also brought his owns chefs along.
And how about those war ships we hear all about? Lets say that 34 of them were exaggerated, and it really was only 25, wow that’s a bid difference isn’t it? And will Michelle and the two darling kids be going on sight seeing touts? And who’s going to be paying for that along with all those Secret Service men that will be going along with them.
Humm, And we all know that they aren’t going to being take public transportation. So we have all those limo’s to pay for as well.
And did anyone think about how many of the local people are going to be out of work all that time? Let’s face it, all the streets and roads that lead to the Taj Mahal Hotel, where Barack and Michelle Obama will be staying. And all the business along the way are going to be closed as well as the roads along the path that the convoy of 45 cars will travel on.
And King Obama claims he is just one of the Guys! Yeah right, well “one of the guys” cannot book the Taj Mahal and spend $500,000 per day on their vacation with other people's money. “One of the guys” is lucky to get a freaking vacation once a year and “One of the guys” don’t eat Lobster and Caviar on vacation, “One of the guys” eats hamburgers and chicken wigs, or splurges sometimes and has a Steak with french fries. And we get out vacation when we earn enough reward points!
Ok, if they want us the think this trip was not really that expensive, then who am I to argue? But I’ll say this... if anyone stupid enough to believe anything that Obama tells us, then they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. .
