Nothing can top the disaster that happened in Japan this past week-end and if that wasn't enough, the authorities now say that a second hydrogen explosion hit a nuclear power plant in Japan this morning. Just 2 days after the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit. And now their economy is going to be all but wrecked as soon as the stock market opens as many of their plants and factories have been destroyed as so on. They are now saying that over 10,000 more deaths are sure to be discovered, and if you noticed in all of this horror you have not seen ANY sign of any looting, or bad behavior at all as was seen in just about every other country were disaster had hit. Japan looks like the aftermath of World War II when you look at the pictures on TV, yet the actions of these people has been honorable to say the least, because Japanese people have respect for people and other people's property. Not like we had seen in places around the world or even in Cities in the US where blackouts occurred, and people took advantage of the miss-hips and looted stores etc. And yes indeed Katrina comes to mind, as well as Detroit.
Here in New York we have seem our own tragedies this week end, Nothing at all to compare to Japan's but we have seen Two of New York's finest policemen killed unnecessarily. One Officer was pussed over a railing anddown a flight of concrete steps landing on his head and broke his neck in Brooklyn. He had responded to a domestic violence call and was preparing to take the suspect into custody. He had one of the suspect's hands already cuffed when the mad-man pushed him to his death.
after being pushed over a railing and the other after he was shot by another officer following a confrontation with a knife-wielding man, who was also killed. It was later learned that this SOB had over 25 prior arrests, so you ask why was he still walking the streets? Good question!
A few hours earlier, a Long Island police officer was killed in a suburb a few miles out of Manhattan, New York City..
The Officer had responded to a 911 call about a man wearing a Hockey mask jumped on the hood of a 71 year old Woman’s car. When the Police arrived, they found this 21-year-old Man with several big knives strapped to his body and in a Ninja style knife in his hand when he saw the police, he charged them with a Rambo style knife, and shot and killed him. One of the shots accidentally hit one of the Police Officers and killed him.
And the prior day Saturday, a bus on a New York highway just on the outskirts of New York City that started out in New York's Chinatown and that was returning from the Mohegan Sun casino in Connecticut hit a guard rail, turned over on its side and slammed into a pole that was holding up an overhead sign, the pole sliced the bus in half end to end, completely cutting off the top half of the bus leaving Fourteen passengers killed and 20 others were seriously injured. Eight were in very serious condition,
The driver who was also seriously injured. told police he lost control trying to avoid a swerving tractor-trailer. Some of the passengers said the the bus was going at a significant rate of speed at the time of the accident. The bus driver stated that a Tractor Trailer had sideswiped him but the Police have doubts about the driver's version of story, it seems as he mostly likely fell asleep at the wheel. And witnesses also said the bus was traveling at "a high rate of speed.
And in other parts of New York and especially in New Jersey, hundreds of people were vacated out of their homes this weekend as the Passaic and Raritan Rivers continued to overflow.
In Little Falls, New Jersey alone more than 500 homes were flooded by the weekends rain storm.
Libya is still in oil terminal, the Lockerbie bomber is still free and laughing his ass off at the way they outsmarted us. Oil prices are at record highs, at $104.00 a barrel, and Gas is at $4.00 a gallon. Muammar Gadhafi’is still in power and it looks as if he’s going to remain there. No one really know what the outcome of Two and a half men will be now that Charlie Sheen has past the line of no return. The Supreme Court don’t seem to give a damn about the Idiots protesting the Military Funerals.
And let’s not forget the horrific massacre , in Israel of a Jewish couple and three of their young children one was only a few months old, were stabbed to death in bed , they slit the throat of a 3 month old infant , and stabbed a 3 year old toddler in the heart.
In a West Bank settlement in what Israeli officials said Saturday was an attack by one or more Palestinians who broke into their home. It all comes down to this, Kill Jews, including innocent infants. This massacre only confirms the views of Peter King.Yeah, lets have Civility!
But all has not been lost in all these stories. Ah Yes, there’s Good New Tonight. Michelle Obama wants to grow Shamrock in the White House. Our Dear First Lady has requested shamrock seeds to plant in the White House Garden. So we can look forward to be seeing pictures of Mooch planting and nurturing those Shamrock seeds on a daily basis. Even with this daily mess of our nation's workers being out of work and losing their homes and the stock market going to hell in a hand-basket.
And . Mel Gibson was given still another chance.
And by the way, no matter what you may read on the Progressive blogs, Wisconsin's governor is not Hitler. You and I and many others of us work for a living and we pay for what we get, we do not look for a free ride on the backs of the taxpayers but because it provided by the Unions. We dod not look for handouts from the Government because our Socialist Presidents says it’s ok.
