CNN Poll: Was Bush Was A Better President Than Obama
Well what da ya know!
By 47 to 45 percent, Americans say Obama is a better president than George W. Bush. But that two point margin is down from a 23 point advantage one year ago. So Obama is essentially tied with George Bush. My oh my, how things have changed!
Democrats may want to think twice about bringing up former President George W. Bush's name while campaigning this year," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland.
According to the poll, 45 percent of the public approves of the job Obama's doing as president, up three points from late last month, with 52 percent disapproving. Fifty-nine percent of independents disapprove of how the Obama's handling his duties, with 37 percent giving him a thumbs up.
Americans are divided over whether President Barack Obama or his predecessor has performed better in the White House, according to a new national poll.
Obama is suffering from what many of us recognized as his lack of experience. He can't command the military because he simply does not have the knowledge or experience, he is totally lost on economics because he has only had to balance a checking acount if that (his wife may have accomplished that chore), and certainly his international experience was probably at best limited to eating at an Intalian restuarant once in a while. Unfortuately the American people are going to have a very long period of pain until he gains enough experience (if ever) to make him a viable administrator and manager capable of understanding and taking action on his key advisers recommendations. Of course if you look at his key civilianadvisors it is pretty thin too, lots of domestic experience in some cases and little if any experience in other key areas such as global economics, military, war (NONE), and international diplomacy. Of course they all graduated from some nice law school but apparently none have ever really worked for a living.
