It Was Obama's Victory Lap!
All we heard for the past Two Years was Obama was blaming everything on Bush, so Bush was right when he didn’t go to ground zero, especially with Obama. In my opinion he was telling the truth when he said that he is now retired and he has has no intentions in getting involved with politics anymore. If Obama was going to take his victory lap, Bush certainly didn’t want to get in his way. I think that In his own way, that was a very nice and certainly dignified way of saying that he didn’t want to start a “who should take the credit” fight with Obama . There is an old unwritten agreement among ex-presidents that they do not get into criticizing or slandering battles with sitting presidents.
He has been that way from the first day that he left office. I can think of a couple other ex-Presidents that should follow his lead.
Does anyone really think that Obama is such a gracious and giving guy that he would want to share his hour of glory with anyone else, especially one of those damn Republicans?
